8 Days Taste of Egypt Safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids / Museum Tours

After breakfast, depart for Giza Plateau to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx, and Valley temple facing the great statue. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to the Egyptian Museum then Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later, proceed to Islamic Cairo to see Cairo’s oldest bazaar called Khan El Khalili. Overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar in Cairo

Day 3: Aswan tours

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic regular flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transfer to board the Nile River Cruise. You will have your lunch in the cruise and visit the world famous High Dam, the Philae temple which was devoted to the 2 goddesses, Isis and Hathor. Then visit the largest known ancient obelisk which is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. Dinner and Overnight on board MS Salacia Nile cruise.in Aswan.

Day 4: Kom Ombo / Edfu Tours

After breakfast, start sailing to Kom Ombo to visit the temple shared by 2 gods Sobek and Haeroris. Later, you will sail to Edfu with lunch on board to visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt called Horus temple in Edfu. Later, enjoy an afternoon tea as you sail to Esna. Dinner and Overnight on board MS Salacia Nile cruise.

Day 5: Luxor West Bank tours

After breakfast, sail to Luxor to visit the West Bank where you will see the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, mortuary temple of queen Hatshepsut built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC, at El-Deir El-Bahari and finally the Colossi of Memnon. You will have your lunch on board. Dinner and Overnight on board MS Salacia Nile cruise.

Day 6: Luxor East Bank tours / Cairo

After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and transfer to visit Karnak and Luxor temples. Later, transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar in Cairo

Day 7: Cairo sightseeing tour

After breakfast, depart to visit the village local farmers of Dahshour to see their daily lifestyle. You will ride on a Donkey and as you watch birds. You will join a local family to prepare your lunch and tea. Late afternoon, we shall move to Al Burqa Lake for a sunset view. Overnight

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home
