9 Days Egypt Splendor tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight at Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino or similar in Cairo

Day 2: Pyramids & Sakkara tours

After breakfast, drive to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple facing the great statue. You may proceed to visit the Solar Boat just in front of Cheops Pyramid (extra entry cost). You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and the 1^st pyramid ever built called Djoser Pyramid. Later, proceed to Memphis which is the Old Kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis. Overnight at Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino or similar in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo Tours

After breakfast, drive to visit the Egyptian Museum with your lunch in one of the local restaurants. Later, proceed to the Islamic Cairo to visit the Khan El Khalili which is Cairo’s oldest bazaar. Overnight at Le Riad Hotel de Charme Cairo or similar in Cairo.

Day 4: Luxor Tours

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your local regular flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred to board the cruise in Esna and your lunch as you sail to El Hegz Island enjoying the sunset views. Dinner and Overnight on board Nuun or Nuut Dahabiya cruise at Basher Island.near El Hegz Island.

Day 5: El Kab Village / Edfu

After breakfast, you will continue sailing on the Nile River to visit the city of El Kab to see the ancient walls, the temple and the rock-cut tombs from the new kingdom. You will have your lunch on board and continue sailing to Edfu where you shall enjoy a wonderful ride on horse carriage through the village to the temple of horus, one of the largest monuments of Egypt with 2 granite statues of the falcon god Horus flank at the entrance. You will continue sailing as you see farmers and fishermen the Nile River and the green fertile landscapes with sugar cane fields, banana, guava and palm trees. Dinner and Overnight on board Nuun or Nuut Dahabiya cruise at Basher Island.near El Ramady Island.

Day 6: Gabal El Silsela

As you enjoy your breakfast, start sailing to visit El Ramady vegetable and fruits local market, then sail to Gabal El Silsela to discover the old Pharaonic quarries of Silsela with the unknown rock cut temple of Hormoheb. You will have an opportunity to climb on top of the mountain and enjoy a breathtaking and memorable view. Dinner and Overnight on board Nuun or Nuut Dahabiya cruise at Basher Island.

Day 7: Kom Ombo / Herdiab Island

After breakfast, you will start sailing to Kom Ombo to visit temple of Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile god). The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls and sanctuaries. It is regarded as the only double temple in Egypt. Later, proceed sailing to Herdiab Island for your lunch on the Herdiab sandy beach and swimming. Dinner and overnight on board the Nuun or Nuut Dahabiya cruise near Aswan Bridge.

Day 8: Aswan / Cairo

After breakfast, disembark in Aswan and transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight back home.
