12 Days Cairo, Nile Cruise & Sharm El Sheikh tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar in Cairo

Day 2: Pyramids tours / Aswan

After breakfast, drive to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple facing the great statue. You may proceed to visit the Solar Boat just in front of Cheops Pyramid (extra entry cost). You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and the 1^st pyramid ever built called Djoser Pyramid.

Late afternoon, transfer to Giza railway station for your overnight train to Aswan. Dinner and overnight in the train

Day 3: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Breakfast in the train and arrival at Aswan Railway station where you will be met by our team and transferred to board the Nile Cruise for a short siesta and lunch. You will depart to visit the world famous High Dam, the Philae temple on Isis Island, the Granite Quarries and the Unfinished Obelisk. Dinner and Overnight on board MS Salacia Nile cruise in Aswan.

Day 4: Kom Ombo / Edfu Tours

After breakfast, you will sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple which is shared by 2 gods Sobek & Haeroris. Continue sailing to Edfu with your lunch on board. You will visit the well preserved Horus Temple in Edfu. After the visit, continue sailing to Esna. Dinner and Overnight on board MS Salacia Nile cruise in Esna.

Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

After breakfast, continue sailing to Luxor to visit the West Bank and the Valley of the Kings, The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari & the Colossi of Memnon. You will have your lunch on board. Later, proceed to the East Bank of Nile to visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner and Overnight on board MS Salacia Nile cruise in Luxor.

Day 6: Sharm El Sheikh

After breakfast, you will disembark from the Nile cruise and transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight via Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh. On arrival at Sharm Airport, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel in Sharm. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 7: Sharm El Shiekh

After breakfast, you will have full day at leisure. Optional tour at extra cost: Tour to Ras Mohammed National Park which is a 480 sq. kms protected area located where the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba meet in Sinai’s southern extremity. Characterized by the desert terrain of sand dunes, gravel plains, fossilized corals and granite mountains, you will find rare mammal species, Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex, red fox, resident birds like terns, herons, gulls and ospreys. Thousands of white storks pass through the park each year. Overnight at Maritim Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort or similar in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 8: Sharm El Shiekh

After breakfast, you will have full day at leisure. Optional tour at extra cost: Tour to one of the natural wonders of the Sinai, the Colored Canyon, a walk among dramatic sandstone canyon walls streaked with melting yellows, purples, reds, magentas and gold. Overnight at Maritim Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort or similar in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 9: Sharm El Shiekh

After breakfast, you will have full day at leisure. Optional tour at extra cost: Tour to the Monastery of St. Catherine at the heart of Sinai and at the foot of the Gebel Musa (Mount Moses). It is owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church and whose library hosts the world’s 2^nd largest collection of illuminated manuscripts after the Vatican. You will see the Burning Bush, a large number of antique artworks, invaluable icons, beautifully carved doors and exquisite wall paintings. Overnight at Maritim Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort or similar in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 10: Cairo

After breakfast, we will transfer you to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar in Cairo

Day 11: Cairo tours

After breakfast, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. Later, proceed to see Cairo’s oldest bazaar called Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar in Cairo

Day 12: Departure

After breakfast, we will transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight back home
