5 Days Untamed Kilimanjaro safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Tsavo West national park

Moring drive to Tsavo West national park, endowed with gold plains, green hills and almost endless blue sky. Passing volcanic lava beds and outrageous baobab trees, we start our game drive in the park in search of the Big Five. Proceed to the lodge for your buffet lunch, followed by a short siesta. Afternoon game drive shall take us to visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary and try our luck searching for some of the protected rhinos. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge or similar

Day 2: Amboseli national park

Early morning game drive in the park in search of the remaining big five that we haven’t seen. Return to the lodge for breakfast and collect our luggage for a drive to Amboseli national park with a visit to Mzima Springs, a natural oasis fed by millions of gallons of underground water. We’ll be able to explore on foot, treading the green carpet of vegetation by the clear waters. Here we’ll find hippos and crocodiles, exotic fish and unusual birds.

Proceed to Amboseli national park to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy a short siesta before driving for an afternoon game drive. Since the park’s foliage is sparse, our wildlife track is made easier and we’re guaranteed to spot plenty of elephants as well as many or perhaps all the Big Five. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Today, we shall have the full day at Amboseli national park with all meals at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 4: Tsavo East national park

Early morning game drive with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak. Besides elephants the reserve also enjoys sightings of lions, cheetahs, hyenas, plus zebras and wildebeests. Return to the lodge for your breakfast and departure for Tsavo East national park. Upon arrival, you shall proceed on a morning game drive enroute to the lodge for your lunch and siesta. Later, drive for an afternoon game drive in search of animals with an African sunset over the park. Dinner and overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge or similar

Day 5: Malindi

Early morning game drive will enable us view any remaining animals on our wish-list. We shall return to the lodge for our buffet breakfast then collect our luggage and drive back to our coastal hotel. Lunch will be served enroute

Our package for above arrangements includes:
