8 Days Treasures of Egypt tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel / Le Passage Hotel and Casino or Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino or similar

Day 2: Cairo tours

After breakfast, depart for a visit to the famous Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx, and Valley Temple facing the great statue. You will have lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to visit the Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Late afternoon, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel / Le Passage Hotel and Casino or Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino or similar.

Day 3: Luxor & Nile Cruise Tour

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Cairo airport for your regular domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will met by our team and transferred to board the Nile cruise for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the impressive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner on board the MS Salacia Nile cruise.

Day 4: Luxor Nile Cruise tours

After breakfast, depart to visit the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC. Proceed to visit the Colossi of Memnon. You will have your lunch and sail to Edfu. Dinner on board the MS Salacia Nile cruise

Optional activity: Hot Air Balloon to see the world’s largest open-air museum .

Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

After breakfast, you will proceed to Edfu to see the well-preserved Ptolemaic temple, Horus Temple which was dedicated to Horus. Later sail to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Sobek, which is commonly known as Kom Ombo Temple. It was dedicated to the crocodile god called Sobek, and the falcon-headed god called Horus. You will have your lunch in the cruise and proceed sailing to Aswan. Dinner on aboard your cruise. Dinner on board the MS Salacia Nile cruise or similar

Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

After breakfast, depart for sightseeing in Aswan to see the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. You will proceed to the temple of Philae which was devoted to the 2 goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner on board the MS Salacia Nile cruise or similar

Day 7: Cairo

After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and transfer to Aswan Airport for regular domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar

Day 8: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel with free time at your leisure, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
