Today we are set to discover the secrets of Rwanda and all underlying contributors to its status of being one of the cleanest city in the world through the initiative dubbed Umuganda which is the country’s monthly cleaning project. You will see the more poverty-stricken areas, along with the measures the government is putting in place to reduce such.
You will have the opportunity to visit the Genocide Memorial and museum, which will give you a moving insight into Rwanda’s shocking modern history. It is humbling yet remarkable to learn just how far Rwanda has come in such a short period of time and it certainly adds a deeper understanding about the Rwandan people.
After visiting the museum, we will return to the hotel
