10 Days Egypt Encounter tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Four Seasons Hotel at The First Residence or similar

Day 2: Pyramids / Museum tours

After breakfast, drive to Giza Plateau to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx, and Valley Temple facing the great statue. You will have lunch at one of the local restaurants. After lunch, visit the Egyptian Museum then proceed to the Islamic Cairo to visit Khan El Khalili, which is the Cairo’s old bazaar. Late afternoon, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo at Four Seasons Hotel at The First Residence or similar

Day 4: Luxor Tours

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your local regular flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred to board the cruise and sail to Esna with lunch on board and afternoon at leisure as you enjoy the sailing experience. Dinner and Overnight on board Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise in Esna

Day 4: Edfu / Kom Ombo

After breakfast, you will sail to Edfu to visit Horus Temple in Edfu which is the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. Return back to the cruise and continue sailing to Kom Ombo with lunch and afternoon tea on board. Evening will be treated to an Egyptian Galabya party. Dinner and Overnight on board Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise in Kom Ombo.

Day 5: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

After breakfast, you will sail to Aswan to visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae. You lunch will be served on board the Nile cruise. You will board a felucca boat to explore the Botanical Garden. Return back to the cruise for an evening Belly dance show and Egyptian folkloric show. Dinner and Overnight on board Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise in Aswan.

Day 6: Abu Simbel Tour (optional)

After breakfast, enjoy full day at leisure (optional at extra cost: drive for about 3 hours to Abu Simbel to visit the temples of Ramses II dedicated to the 4 universal gods Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II) Dinner and Overnight on board Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise in Aswan

Day 7: Kom Ombo / Esna

After breakfast, you will sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by 2 gods Sobek and Haeroris. Later, return back to the Nile Cruise and sail to Edfu. You will have your lunch and afternoon tea on board the cruise. Dinner and Overnight on board Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise in Esna.

Day 8: Luxor Nile Cruise tours

After breakfast, sail to the West bank of the River Nile in Luxor to visit Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the powerful Egyptian queen, and the Colossi of Memnon. Your lunch will be on the cruise. Dinner and Overnight on board Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise in Luxor.

Day 9: Cairo

After breakfast, you will disembark from the cruise in Luxor and depart to the East Bank of Luxor, to visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Your lunch will be served in one of the local restaurants. Late afternoon, transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo at Four Seasons Hotel at The First Residence or similar.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home
