8 Days Best of Dahabiya Tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Pyramids & Sakkara tours

After breakfast, drive to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple facing the great statue. You may proceed to visit the Solar Boat just in front of Cheops Pyramid (extra entry cost). You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and the 1^st pyramid ever built called Djoser Pyramid. Later, proceed to Memphis which is the Old Kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo Tours

After breakfast, drive to visit the Egyptian Museum with your lunch in one of the local restaurants. Later, proceed to the Islamic Cairo to visit the Khan El Khalili which is Cairo’s oldest bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Aswan City

After breakfast, transfer to the local airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will met by our team and transferred to board one of the luxurious Dahabeyas. You will start sailing and have lunch on-board as you sail to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo which was dedicated to the crocodile god called Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus the elder, god of the morning sun. Dinner and overnight on-board near Beshir Island.

Day 5: Gebel El Silsila

After breakfast, you will continue sailing to Gabal El Silsila to visit the Gabal El Silsila and Sandstone quarries. After the visit and your lunch on-board, you will proceed to Fawaza Island as you enjoy tea on-board as you enjoy a magnificent sunset view. Dinner and overnight on-board near to Fawaza Island.

Day 6: Edfu

After breakfast, proceed with your sail to Edfu to visit the Edfu Temple, which is one of the best preserved temples of Greco Roman era, that of Horus at Edfu. Your visit will be conducted on a horse-drawn cart. You lunch will be on-board the dahabiya as you sail to El Kab Village to visit El Kab Temple. Dinner and overnight on-board the dahabiya on the El Hegz Island near Esna.

Day 7: Esna / Cairo

Enjoy your breakfast on-board as you sail to Esna. Upon arrival, you will disembark and drive to visit Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings. Later, transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic regular flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight back home
