8 Days Nile Discovery tour itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel in our air conditioned vehicle. After hotel check-in you will have a short meeting with them to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo
Day 2: Giza Pyramids and Sakkara
After breakfast, you will depart to discover the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, Valley Temple. You will have lunch at one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to visit the Sakkara complex and the 1st pyramid ever to be built called Djoser Pyramid. Overnight in Cairo
Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing Tours
After breakfast, depart to visit the Egyptian Museum and have lunch at one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to visit the Salah El Din Citadel, Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, Coptic Cairo: Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Khan el Khalili bazaar. Overnight in Cairo
Day 4: Aswan – Nile Cruise Tour
After breakfast, transfer to the local airport for your regular flight to Aswan where you will be met by our team and transferred to the cruise ship. After check-in, depart to visit the High Dam and Lake Nasser, Ancient granite quarries and Unfinished Obelisk. Later, enjoy a boat ride and visit to Temple of Philae. You will have evening entertainment on-board the cruise. Dinner and Overnight in Aswan
Day 5: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples
After breakfast, sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Kom Ombo temple and crocodile museum. You will have your lunch on-board the cruise as you sail to Edfu to visit the Horus Temple. Later, proceed with your sail to Esna. You will have evening entertainment on-board the cruise. Dinner and Overnight on-board the cruise in Esna
Day 6: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours
After breakfast, sail to Luxor to visit the Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple complex. You will have your lunch, afternoon tea and evening entertainment on-board the cruise. Dinner and Overnight on-board the cruise in Luxor
Day 7: Luxor Nile Cruise tours / Departure
After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and depart to visit the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. You will have time at leisure before being transferred to the local airport for your regular flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred in our air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home
