8 Days Glamour of Egypt tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Kempinski Nile City Hotel or similar

Day 2: Pyramids / Museum Tours

After breakfast, depart to Giza Plateau to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, Islamic Cairo to visit Cairo’s old bazaar called Khan El Khalili, the Solar Boat Museum at Pyramids area. Overnight in Cairo at Kempinski Nile City Hotel Cairo or similar

Day 3: Luxor & Nile Cruise Tour

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Cairo airport for your regular domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will met by our team and transferred to board the Nile cruise for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the impressive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner on board the Mayfair Nile Cruise.

Day 4: Luxor Nile Cruise tours

After breakfast, depart to visit the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, and Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC. Proceed to visit the Colossi of Memnon. You will have your lunch and sail to Edfu. Dinner on board the Mayfair Nile Cruise

Optional activity: Hot Air Balloon to see the world’s largest open-air museum.

Day 5: Abu Simbel Group Tour & Kom Ombo Temple

After breakfast in the cruise, transfer to visit Abu Simbel Temples until noon time when you will sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple shared by 2 gods, Sobek and Haeroris.  You will have your lunch in the cruise as you sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight in the Mayfair Nile Cruise in Edfu or similar

Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

After breakfast, depart for sightseeing in Aswan to see the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. You will proceed to the temple of Philae which was devoted to the 2 goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner on board the Mayfair Nile Cruise or similar

Day 7: Cairo

After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and transfer to Aswan Airport for regular domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Kempinski Nile City Hotel or similar

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home
